He tweeted:

“It is cheering that we are entering the New Year with refreshing news of a handful of certified vaccines against the dreaded COVID-19 virus. And better still is news of commencement of vaccination in some parts of the world.

I am expectant that the vaccine(s) would soon be available for vaccination in Nigeria. It is also hoped that very soon life would return to normal. He said the damage that the pandemic had done to lives remained, and that it would take some time for the nation to overcome.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Atiku gave tips on how the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) can emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections. It was reported that Akitu, who was the 2019 presidential candidate of the party said the PDP must be united to secure electoral victories in 2023.

In another report, president warned ministries, departments and agencies of government saddled with the task of generating revenue generation to work hard to meet their targets or be sanctioned.

The special assistant to the president on social media, Lauretta Onochie, said that Buhari issued the warning on Thursday, December 31, after signing the ₦13.588 trillion 2021 Appropriation Bill and the 2020 Finance Bill into law.
