On Wednesday, February 7, afrobeats icon Kizz Daniel revealed his intention to keep his word to a fan who asked to attend his UK show in the event that Nigeria advanced to the AFCON 2023 finals.
In a hard-fought football encounter, the Super Eagles of Nigeria took against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
The match, which lasted longer than the scheduled ninety minutes, ended with Nigeria winning 4-2, sealing their place in the finals on penalties.
Before the game, a passionate fan of the well-known singer made a bargain with Kizz Daniel via a post on the X platform, asking him to come to his next concert at the Ovo Arena in the UK.
The fan asked a question;
“Vado if Super Eagles win today, take me to your next show, Ovo Arena”
Kizz Daniel responded:
“This I promise you …. X is my witness”
Just seconds after the hard-fought bout, the Twe Twe crooner quickly went to X in a post-match commentary to break the news to the fan.
He posted on Twitter.
“Oga where you dey , con go do your visa o UK yah .”
