And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint. Luke 18:1
When we receive the word for the new year, or for the new month in our local assembly, we are usually excited and happy for what is going to happen for us in the year, or in the month.
However, it is important for us to know that when the Lord speaks to us, He is a God of faith, so He speaks in faith, believing that we are going to do His Word. His Word says men ought always to pray, and not to faint. In other words, His promise is predicated on us doing His Word by prayer and studying and speaking the Word.
We have gone through years and months before, where, in spite of the Word released by our man of God, we still see ourselves not achieving it. This is the main reason why: when God speaks, He speaks from a position of us doing His Word. The prophecy will come to pass if you do His Word.
MEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY, AND NOT TO FAINT is a must to receive your prophecy from the Lord. According to this verse, a normal Christian ought to have a consistent prayer life. He speaks His prophecy to you assuming you would be a normal Christian!
When the Lord speaks to you in prophecy, He knows the devil would try to truncate it, but He also knows that He has put power in you through prayer and the Word, that would defeat every plan of the devil. The issue comes when you don’t use that power through prayer, study and confession.
1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
You have everything you need to defeat the devil and get your manifestation.
This is how prophecy and God’s Word come into manifestation in our lives:
Luke 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
Mary had a visitation from an angel announcing to her that she would conceive of the child Jesus. When she heard it, she asked a question, ‘How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?’. The angel answered and explained to her. This shows she didn’t ask out of unbelief (like Zechariah – Luke 1:5-25). She accepted the word in her spirit, even though her mind did not understand it.
After the angel answered her, she said ‘Be it unto me according to thy word’. This is the moment when the Word of God manifested, and she conceived Jesus physically.
So…
For the Word to manifest physically in your spirit, you have to 1. Believe and receive it in your spirit 2. Confess it out of your mouth.
This is why, after receiving any prophecy, you must 1. Believe it 2.You must speak it out in prayer, thanksgiving and confession – before it would manifest.
You shall manifest all of God’s promises to you this year and beyond, in Jesus Name.
CONFESSION
I am receiving and manifesting all that the Lord has for me this year. I am more than a conqueror. I win in all my challenges and I am achieving great things from now on, hallelujah. I am praying consistently, and I am full of a great love for the Word. I am going forward, and achieving all that the Lord has blessed me with, in Jesus Name, glory to God!
