Hard work pays off

Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men. Proverbs 22:29

Hard work pays off.

Sometimes, we see people who say, ‘Don’t work hard, work smart’. Actually, a lot of people believe that success does not have to include hard work, just smart work.

Yes, we definitely have to work smart. The fact is just that, even within the context of working smart, you just have to be diligent with that smart idea or project, in order for it to become a success.

Proverbs 10:4 A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

According to the Bible, laziness is the road that leads to poverty.

When you have an idea, or assignment, you need to apply diligence to it, for it to produce the blessing it ought to in your life. That idea that the Lord gave you would not bless you if you do not add diligent action to it.

Faith without work(s) is dead (James 2:26). This verse of scripture is not talking about the works of the law, but the actions and work to back up our faith.

Without adding action and diligence to your faith, you cannot conclusively say you have faith, because faith does not sit down, saying it believes. Rather, it works and talks in line with what you are having faith for. This is the method for receiving from God – Talking and Working.

Do something about your dreams today. Dreaming without speaking and working on what you are believing for is hope, not faith.

Hard work pays off.

To receive from God, you need to have real faith. Real faith is diligent, and it always produces results, if you will keep at it.

You will win in Jesus Name.

CONFESSION

I am strengthened in my inner man by the Holy Spirit, and I am full of might, focus and diligence. I know what to do to bring my dreams to pass, and I am doing them tirelessly. I am not weak or careless. I am focused and full of action, and I am moving toward the manifestation of my dreams everyday, in Jesus Name, Amen.
