Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, Ephesians 1:4 NKJV

In yesterday’s study, we learned how we were created in Christ Jesus before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless before Jesus in love.

In other words, the new creation was made in Christ, and after this, the world was made (2 Cor 5:17).

Before the Lord made the world, He had already seen how man would be disobedient to Him, and all the issues this would create, both before and after Jesus came to pay the price for man.

He then made us in Christ with all we needed to be solutions to the mess, if we obeyed Him. After this, He went ahead and created the world.

When He was done, time started counting. Adam sinned and fell away, there came Abraham, the Law, and the Prophets, and then Jesus came to pay the price for the coming of the new creation.

This was when it became possible for us to give our lives to Christ, and become born again – crucifying the old man with Christ, and receiving the new creation made in Christ before the foundation of the world, hallelujah.

The New Birth Experience

The Bible says that when we gave our lives to Christ, our old man was crucified with Him and he (the old man) died with Christ.

Romans 6:6  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should henceforth not serve sin.

Immediately after the old man died, the new creation came alive in you!

2 Cor 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Now, the old man has been crucified and died with Christ. He no longer lives in you. You are now a completely new creation, one who wos created before the foundation of the world, Hallelujah.

Col 3:9  Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new [creation], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

This new creation was created with every quality he needs to win in the present world. It is blessed with every spiritual blessing to win and reign in this life, glory to God!

The new creation is more than a conqueror. Greater is He that is in him, than he that is in the world. He is the head only, and never the tail.

He is rich and a winner always!

However, when you are going through challenges, the person you think of who can fail, not make it, be poor, be sick, etc is the old man. Because those things could happen to the old man, yes.

But the Bible tells us we have put off the old man already (Col 3:9). We cannot live his life again, because he is no longer there. He has been crucified and died with Christ. The new man now lives in you. And these things are not possible to the new man, glory to God.

So, when next you start being afraid for your future, remember the fact that the old man is dead, and the new man, the new creation now lives in you, hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I have put off the old man and his deeds, and have put on the new man, who is renewed in knowledge after the image of God. I am walking in the power, love, excellence and dominion the Lord has put in the new creation in Christ. I am more than a conqueror and am permanently blessed in life, Amen!

MORE LIGHT (MEDITATE ON, AND PRAY WITH THESE)

Col 3:9  Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new [creation], which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.

Gal 2:20  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Ro 6:2-5  God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection.
